Our History
Villa Castelletto is an 8-acre property in Sinalunga, Siena made up of 1 villa and 5 apartments immersed in vineyards and olive groves for a total of 36 sleeps. Villa Castelletto was built in the 18th century, to glorify the union of the heirs from two important families of the territory. During the 19th century the property was expanded with the additional buildings, which were built to host the farming families and the farm activities. After WW2 the property was slowly abandoned because of the transition from the previous agriculture-based society to the new industrial one. We need to await the 90’s to see Villa Castelletto going back to its former glory, after a renovation process lasted 10 years, which led to the beginning of a new venture in hospitality in 2000.
